I currently have my Master’s in Public Administration. I am interested in getting certified in HR. What certifications are more marketable? I just got a job as a senior staff development specialist and want to stay in HR.

You will want to get a PHR (Professional in Human Resources)

or a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)….

There are requirements for each…you have to have worked so many years in a non exempt HR position to be able to take the test for them…obviously the SPHR requires more experience so you would want to shoot for the PHR right now.
